FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Miramichi Kia Joins Rockin’ River Fest as Major Sponsor for 2025

MIRAMICHI, NB — July 15, 2025 — The Rockin’ River Fest, Rock n’ Roll Festival, and Downtown Newcastle Business District are proud to announce Miramichi Kia as a Major Sponsor for the 2025 festival season.

This new partnership reflects a shared vision for community development, cultural celebration, and long-term impact in the heart of downtown Miramichi. With a significant investment and visible community leadership, Miramichi Kia is helping usher in a bold new era for one of the city’s most cherished summer traditions.

“We are thrilled to welcome Miramichi Kia as a major community partner,” said Tiffany Gallivan, President of the Downtown Newcastle Business District. “Their support strengthens our ability to deliver a high-caliber festival experience and reinforces the kind of collaboration that drives growth and vibrancy in our region.”

As part of the partnership, Miramichi Kia will play a central role in this summer’s celebrations—including presenting the headline performance by Honeymoon Suite—and will host dynamic on-site activations that invite festivalgoers to connect with the Kia brand in a high-energy, high-visibility setting.

For Chad Rose, newly appointed General Manager of Miramichi Kia, the timing is ideal.

“This partnership with Rockin’ River Fest couldn’t come at a better time,” said Chad Rose, GM of Miramichi Kia. “As we celebrate our grand reopening on July 23, following a significant building renovation and design update, we want to show the community that we’re here to lead, invest, and support what makes Miramichi thrive. Rockin’ River Fest is a celebration of everything we love about this city—music, people, and pride—and we’re honoured to be part of its future.”

The sponsorship agreement includes an option to renew through 2026 and 2027, opening the door to a long-term alliance that supports local culture and commerce year after year.

Together, Miramichi Kia and Rockin’ River Fest are creating more than a weekend celebration—they’re building a cultural legacy rooted in music, community, and local pride.
